Bay Caulk 🔧 Strip: Easy Installation by 3MSTC Review

This item is shipped in a box with all foil/sealant taped together. It is very difficult to pull out even one strip without tearing or sticking together. sticks to itself.

I am restoring a vintage Plymouth and replacing the boot floor pan from another donor car, fender to fender. This seal is superb! I applied it to all my welds, it was easy to install and covers well. Best with bare hands and wet fingers before application. This material is very sticky.

I used this sealant to bend the inside of the wheel wells to prevent salt build up. This sealant was very flexible yet strong and made a good base for automotive sealants. I read some reviews on this product stating that the seal had sat on the retailer shelf too long but my packaging was in good condition.

Volume: Updated vapor barrier on four car doors. I used about 20 strips or less. Critical Notes: The box was obviously carelessly stored. Looked crumpled, the edges of the box were frayed. The wax paper separating the striped shells stuck to the seal like an old sticker and was sometimes difficult to remove. The sealant was all glued together so I used an Xacto blade to separate the pieces. When installed on a warm day, the strips sagged and sagged with handling, making them slightly thinner…
