It's Big and Red - Industrial Electric

I wanted a big red button and I got a big red button. It's just the right size and shape. It had no instructions so I had to look up how to insert the switch into the button body. The button itself is fine. It's not exactly arcade-level quality, but it has a good spring and decent tactile click. Some reviews have mentioned that the key is not as bright as I would like. Since it's a 5V LED under a translucent piece of plastic, I wasn't expecting it to be surprisingly bright.

Pros
  • 100mm Jumbo Dome Snap 5 Colors Available!
Cons
  • Little things

Okay, not really: Industrial Electrical

Cheaply made but functional. The LEDs that came with it were the worst I've ever seen! It was easy to replace so can't complain too much. I used a super bright 8mm diffused red LED and the effect is just magical. I haven't tried it, but I think even 10mm is enough. I wouldn't buy this button for public installations that are meant to last more than a week as the plastic is too brittle and cheap. For my use I only need it for a few days in public, but I wouldn't trust it at all for anything…

Pros
  • 5V LED Lamp, Attention to Voltage
Cons
  • Can't remember

I bought a pair of these to build an Arduino based scoring, serving and fun ping pong device (don't ask!). These are "score buttons" and they work great as they are easy to use and have nice big buttons. Two cons: (1) The included LEDs suck. No wonder they put six parts on two buttons. Of the six, one works, one flickers, and the rest is DOA. I need to rewire the LEDs and replace them with real ones from my local electronics store. (2) No documents. I have a voltmeter so I was able to figure…

Pros
  • Suitable for wood or metal control panels
Cons
  • Not sure
