Scale 1:12 means 6 inch scale. This chair looks like a child's chair compared to a 6 inch figure. I've used the Marvel Legends Nova character to illustrate my point.

The wood of the chair is neither dark nor "wooden" as shown in the picture. It is painted red to ensure there is no contrast between the upholstery and the wooden frame. Disappointed as the wood should have matched my bookshelf. In general, the chair is very beautiful.

The chair has a very nice cut, with rich red felt upholstery, but unfortunately does NOT fit 6-inch figures, that's 1:12, it's too small if you only want your Figure looks like a giant. Too bad because I really like it, it's just not big enough.

When the chair arrived and I took it out of the box I immediately realized it's not 1/12 scale and it's disappointing because I love it Bought it to use with Mezco One: 12 collectible figures (albeit 1/12th scale). I had to look past the descriptions in the reviews where photos of the chair were posted alongside other 1/12 scale figures like Legends of Wonders. I would say that the 1/16 or 1/18 scale chair is more accurate. As I bought it for photography the chair still looks great so I can use
