Good Plug Switch - Ceiling Fans and Accessories

I've tried to find it at Lowes and Home Depot and the only place I could find this configuration was at Revain. I've installed several of these and they work great. It is convenient to have 2 switches on one board.

Pros
  • Durable Test Results
Cons
  • Appearance

Unreliable. on wall mounted controls

I installed one of these and liked it so much I bought 3 more. Within a year now all 4 have the same problem. Coincidence that 4 times 4 is wrong? I will not buy again.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Not sure

Super durable buttons

Super durable buttons, they don't seem to come loose like all sliders. Easy installation. The only problem is that the light doesn't come on until almost half the turn, but you get used to it quickly. Doesn't work with LEDs either.

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

Simple design - better than its Hunter successor

After reading so many bad reviews of Hunter's fan/light controller I settled on this fairly simple looking replacement. While the Hunter, like many other users, worked well, its mechanical design was flawed - the sliders broke and they couldn't be repaired with glue. The Cooper replacement was similar and did its job, and while it's not "nice," it seems like it can last.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Reliability

My house could burn down!

I ordered and installed an Eaton RDC15-WK combination switch on a Hunter fan/light in my master bedroom 1 year and 1 month ago. It seemed to work until recently when I noticed all the lights were blinking on the same circuit breaker. Subtle, but still disturbing. Then just yesterday the light switch got stuck and turning the dimmer knob did nothing - the light stayed on. I then removed the cover and found that those screws were a bit warm. The switch screws were even warmer and I couldn't even…

Pros
  • Ceiling Fans and Accessories
Cons
  • Without Automation

Hot Hot Hot good for Wall Controls

During our living room renovation we decided to install new fans and light controls in our living room. The old one worked fine but the new white one will improve the look. The first one I ordered didn't work on the third fan position. The fan just stopped. I ordered a new switch thinking it was just a bad block. The second worked fine, all fan settings worked. I left the fan on position 3 for a few minutes to do something else. When I came back I was about to put the switch back in the switch…

  • Wall Controls
