The final assembly is a good connector.

Easy to open at first. There are small thin metal clips between the screw and the wire on the terminals, these small clips would not stay in place if the screw was loosened while the wire was being installed. When opened, a clip in the pocket came loose. It was a pain after putting everything together, this connector is great. But those little brackets, God! The finished product will work just fine.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Great design - great price

This was a great price for a quality 220VAC 50A plug. Loops make installation easy. My only complaint would be that the eyelet/screw that tightens the wire on the ground spade was loose in the packaging. These things happen on delivery but I would write a very different review if it got lost and I couldn't find it. I can not imagine that you can buy these little things individually. Overall I would buy this brand again.

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Something different

Does the job best in electrics

I bought this to use with a small Chinese plasma cutter I have (to connect to a large extension cord from a welding machine) and it works as intended . The terminals accept wires up to 12 gauge if you use a ferrule (not that 12 gauge is safe for 50 amps, but my unit only draws about 20). My only complaint is that if you're using the plug to plug a less-power-hungry device into existing outlets around your workspace, the plug's cord clamp is very large and therefore doesn't fit snugly over aโ€ฆ

  • Great product
Cons

excellent goods !

Excellent 50A 220 volt plug. Very easy to install as the pins can be removed from the connector to attach the wires and then reinserted into the body of the connector when all the connections are made (no need to bother to get the wires in the right position bending or attempting to tighten partially hidden screws). Two screws hold the fork body together. There are also wire mounts with a mini clip - no need to wrap the wire around the screws. The mounted fork also has enough points for aโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

I don't really like the design, but it works as it should.

Simple connection with plug on cable. Worried about dropping it. I'm not sure if the plastic will last long. What's wrong with the description? wall panels? Someone could fix the bug in a few minutes if they weren't feeling well. Of course, it would be easier to understand what they are selling.

Pros
  • The body of this fork is made from durable thermoplastic designed to stand up to years of heavy use
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.

Does what it's supposed to. Comes with a spare blade so you can set up the plug for 30 or 50 amps. The only downside is the way the ground wire is connected. It comes out the bottom of the fork (same as white and black) but requires a hard 90 and then tightened with set screws. If the entry were inline, it would put less strain on the connection. Wrapped in duct tape in case it slips out and hits another leader. Cheaper than others on the market.
