EBC Brakes FA199V Semi Sintered Disc Brake Pads for Enhanced Performance and Durability Review

The best brake I have ever bought for my 2008 Vstar 1300 Tour. Excellent stopping power and stops when you step on the brake. Cheap brakes make a howling noise when braking, at least that's my experience. The OEM brakes seem to be best for rest, but they don't hold up as well and don't last as long.

Much better grip and control than my previous set of pads. I'm still trying to make lots of stops and drive around town as EBC says this will allow the brakes to work properly. They recommend 250 miles for the pads to fully seat. Another thing I noticed compared to my recent pads is the lack of noise. No creaks, squeaks and other things have not yet been heard.
