Intermittent loss of connection

I fitted them to a set of winter wheels for my 2010 Saab 95 and they worked fine at first but the sensors on the rear wheels go on and off intermittently. I think the signal from the rear sensors is weak and losing communication with the main computer in the car. I didn't have this problem with the original sensors.

Pros
  • Happy so far
Cons
  • There are new competitors

TPMS replacement on my 2009 Tahoe

My TPMS is dead. The OEM part is about $45 each. I have all 4 of them smaller than this one. Would an independent shop have them installed as track tire shops would NOT install them because they were not OEM or purchased from them. Or they wanted like $200 for it. After installation I took it to Discount Tires and they reprogrammed the sensor for me, they've been great so far.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Poorly designed

Bought 2 sets. 1 machine worked, the other didn't

Bought 2 sets. 1 set for 2007 Cadillac Escalade EXT and one set for 2008 Envoy Denali. The Escalade kit worked great and fitted perfectly with no issues, but the Denali kit doesn't fit the car at all no matter which repair or tire shop I go to. They think there is a software lock that requires them to be paired with the merchant. Just something buyers should know about future purchases.

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Very expensive
