I was delighted to get a battery pack for my GXT1050P for all 4 of my radios. I am using my radios with these batteries every week from January 2021 to the end of April 2021. Now all 4 batteries are dead and not holding a charge. I expect these batteries to last more than 4 months which seems a bit short to me. The funny thing is that I also ordered these batteries directly from MIDLAND and they only lasted 2 weeks. Unbelievable! I have to keep looking for a better solution.

I am a sailor and spend a lot of time in the marina and we seem to use a lot of portable radios. I started buying these cheap handhelds made in England. The company used to be called Midland but I think they changed their name. However, both of my PDAs died around the same time and I was stunned and upset that they just broke. Then it dawned on me: check the battery. Of course I was able to buy these batteries very cheaply and the Midland radios worked 100%.

One of the batteries already has a charging memory ex works. For this reason I ordered them. Once fully charged, one of the two I ordered doesn't even last 24 hours monitoring just a single channel, receiving less than 5 incoming transmissions in that time. No scan, no transmission. Another battery lasts over 36 hours doing the same thing and even broadcasting! UPDATE: A battery no longer charges at all and no longer works. (Weak who was sent). I suggest investing in the best product.

Bought these as spares for my Midland radios. These bars are great! First, they are black. Not pink or yellow, but masculine black. Second, they match my Midland radios. Third, they hold a charge like a battery. Just plug them in, plug them in and voila, they're charged. Fourth, they're not too heavy, not too light, they're just right, and they feel meaty and manly, they're not lady batteries, no sir.
