I love these shoes but hate the shoelaces. Little did I know when I bought them that the laces are flimsy, round, that just don't stay tied. I have to reconnect every few minutes. So I avoid shoes! I have another pair from the same company but they are white, cotton, lace up and I have no problems with them. These blacks just don't stay tied.

I actually bought these to replace an almost identical pair that I had for many years. The workmanship is good enough that I spent the money to replace the last pair when the tread started to wear out. I actually did a repair or two on another pair (same brand) to keep them working. ECCO is always perfect for me. I wear 5.5 and sometimes 6 and 5.5 fits like a glove. They offer great support but are light and thin.

We usually wear Clarks shoes but couldn't find the size online. I also had a problem with shoes while I was away and ended up buying the men's Ecco for work so I decided to try them on my daughter's school shoes. Excellent shoes, met all expectations and I would be very disappointed if they weren't so expensive.

The item itself is good but seems to have been used at least once. The box was not new and there is a small scratch on the top of the shoe.
