Good value for money spare parts

already a month old. So far, so good. 4 stars only because it's noisy at top speed but not too bad with the radio on. Does the job just like the $200+ Toyota brand. So for me? I will buy again.

After 1 year there is a smell of burnt electrics

I bought this a year ago when I had other work to do on my 4 blade. It's been about a year and the engine shuts down and doesn't let air through, sometimes there is a burnt electric smell. I'm going back to the OEM.

Great fan at a great price

Great OEM replacement. However, a slight modification was required to ensure the airflow flange fits properly onto the evaporator box body. Our 4Runner is from 2003 and a little different. The fan looks solid and expensive, like all auto parts store options.

Not the best part. Buy elsewhere.

This is a piece of junk. I'm relatively sure it's a 3D printed part (black body) using poor quality materials as the spray plastic. The plug connector does not properly mate with the standard plug and requires very little trimming and realignment of the plug blades. The fan is unbalanced and vibrates, although it doesn't move the air well through the duct and makes a lot of noise. It works out? As if. Will you succeed? Yes, for a while, but I don't think it won't fail prematurely or cause…

Good price - change the cabin air filter at the same time.

On the 4th generation 4Runner - 200,000 miles with the original engine. Some pointed out the difficulty of aligning with the rear screw. It's not really a problem with the unit - it's just a very tight spot due to Toyota's design - the engine hangs in your way and the floor is too close for a screwdriver unless it's short and narrow to unscrew. Switched to flex socket for installation, easy once it works. The cabin air filter was dirtier than usual - I think during the last failure the downtime
