I bought these for my 2010 Dodge Ram to replace a faulty factory FOB. I paid about $300 to have them programmed. They worked fantastic for about 6 weeks and then the first one failed. I was able to locate the problem on the board in the FOB. About 2 weeks later the other one also failed. Now I have 2 FOBs that cost me almost $325.00 (with programming) that don't work at all. I recommend trying a different brand or going with the factory.

Works just as well as the original key fob before it no longer locks/unlocks the doors. There are many Dodge key fobs that look the same but are not the same on the inside. Those who say they can't be programmed from their Dodge dealers either bought the wrong one (didn't open the unit and look at the board number before ordering) or the dealer doesn't want to program a non-OEM FOB . Got a pair of these for our Sep '19 for our Jeep Grand Cherokee. To do this, the locksmith had to program them with technical aids. $150 to program both. I wasn't expecting the programming to be so expensive (one Jeep dealer said $150 each). Both worked great until we added a start button. The key fob must be with you or in the cabin for the button to work. I was originally hoping to do the two key programming trick but it didn't work on my 2010 Dodge Journey. I ended up replacing the original chips with these FOBs; To do this, the tape holding the metal plates on the sensor had to be peeled off the new chips and stuck back onto the original ones. Put the old chips on the new FOB case (I tried to keep the original Dodge logo back but it wouldn't close) and all the buttons work fine. Don't waste your money on them, they need less than one star. Bought these in September for my 2010 Ram 2500 Laramie Diesel and the locksmith had no problem programming them and cutting a blank key.
