Bought 2 of these to take to Disney World as I despise paper straws. Firstly they were late and delivered after we went on business trip and was in my mailbox for 4 days. Second, the colors are for the shells, not the straw. This was disappointing as the description led me to believe it was a straw colour. Third, they spoil the taste of what you drink. Whatever it is, it tastes metallic through the straw. I would not recommend it.

I really want to use more reusable straws (and I HATE paper straws) so it's time to spend some money on the right stuff! Another problem is doing it outside the home. Eco straws are the perfect solution! They seem to have been one of the first companies to come up with a quality solution with a great carrying case! Thin enough to fit in my purse without being uncomfortable. Really impressed with the feel and features. I also bought one for my mom!

After researching the reusable straw I am so glad I found this beautiful telescopic straw! The rose gold case and snorkel are well constructed, and I love that it's portable and compact enough that I can take it anywhere. Very happy with my purchase. Very practical for on the go. I bought one for each member of my family and we all love them. No weird taste. Older people and people with arthritis may have a little trouble with their lengthening, but everyone can help them. Children and adults will have no problems. In addition, it is easy to clean. I have a small wallet and I like to buy things that are foldable so they don't take up much space. I have used the straw several times. Due to the collapsible design, proper drying is a bit difficult. I can clean it easily but it has to be left open until it dries as the water stays in the straw. This is the best plastic straw replacement I have ever tried. The disposable options I've tried (paper, bamboo) didn't work very well, the glass is brittle (and relatively thick for strength, meaning the two I've tried either have too small a liquid passageway or a had too large a diameter). for a nice mouthfeel) and other metal straws I've tried (not sure if stainless steel or aluminum, none were telescoping) cool very quickly in a drink with ice (and one was too large in diameter to be handy)
