We have been using biodegradable straws in my coffee shop for almost 5 years. Once we know you never use them in hot drinks, they're great for cold drinks. I want to know that we are doing our best for the environment.

I was really surprised at how well designed these straws are. Compared to traditional plastic straws, they are stiffer. They will crush and break if you squeeze them a few times. Imagine if all the big fast food establishments used these straws? This would be a good first step towards environmental responsibility.
