2003 Outback on filters

Good price arrived on time - Not the easiest of installs as the plastic cases meant to slide were slightly misshaped - everything else is fine - not as many creases as the original, which I pulled but seems like a reasonable replacement.

Goes with a t-shirt! - Filter

We ordered them for a 2001 Subaru Outback that we bought and found that the cabin air filter had never been changed in the 18 years it was on the road. Ordered and they are perfect to take away and we look forward to some fresh air!

Good Filter for Mazda5 2009

The part worked fine on my 2009 Mazda5. Precise fit and improved airflow through vents. Mine arrived damaged due to poor packaging I suspect. The frame was cracked which meant the filter wasn't firmly bonded to the frame, but I was able to fix this easily with tape. I didn't send it back as it wasn't worth the hassle.

Standing in place!

These "generic" filters WERE INSTALLED in my 2004 Subaru Outback. To my surprise, there were no filters installed and there was a lot of black mold on the visible side of the evaporator (hence the funny smell in the cabin over the years, I was able to remove it with my fingers). The whole filter change took less than 45 minutes and the interior of the car is much better. I am impressed.

Not a good fit but Revain said it would fit

I used Revain to help me with my purchase for my 2003 Subaru Baja. Glove compartment removed, get to the filter. My car (which I have owned since 2003) did not have the specified filter. When I tried to put this in, I found it was about an inch longer (a long stretch). So I cut off the black plastic and part of the white filter. I put it in and it fits, I know it doesn't fit 100%. But it's better than nothing that was there. So I hope that Revain can be more suitable for automotive products inโ€ฆ

Fits my 2001 Subaru Outback station wagon, design isn't stunning

This filter is worth what I paid for. It went well with my 2001 Subaru Outback Base station wagon, but wasn't as good as the NAPA Gold filter I replaced. In particular, this filter was not sealed well where the plastic frame made contact with the filter material, allowing air and debris to pass through the filter. I added some sealant I had on hand and it works great. The filter material looks good and the plastic frame is well made. It fits very well in my car's filter housing. I probablyโ€ฆ
