EcoPure EPWHEF Replacement Certified Tasting Review

I have had this system for about 2 years. However, I bought a water meter a few weeks ago. I had about 750 ppm dissolved solids. I knew it was time to change the filter so I decided to check before and after. Before: 750ppm After: 740ppm I'm back in the market for a water system, only this time I won't save a penny.

The water quality of this filter is excellent. In my HOA we have our own wells operated by HOA and the pipeline infrastructure is starting to fail so there is a lot of sediment in our water. Because this filter filters down to 5 microns I can only use the filter for about 1 month before the water pressure gets too low to use it. I plan to add a reusable sediment pre-filter beforehand to hopefully get rid of the larger particles so they don't clog this filter anytime soon.

I bought the filter system because it needed a 1" pipe and a quick-change feature for high flow rates. The system does not have to be depressurized as this is done automatically. Changes can be made in a minute with practice, and the built-in bypass lets you do this while someone is in the shower.
