Excellent traditional style transcription headphones These fit under the chin and do not irritate the external ear canal like in-ear headphones, nor do they press on the outer edge of the ear or temples like an over the glasses -Ear Headphones. The volume control on the cable also helps a lot! I like fabric covered cables as they are less prone to tearing and more likely to withstand prolonged use.

I was a little skeptical that this headset would be comfortable. I thought it would feel like something was hanging from my ears. Much to my surprise, it isn't! You hardly notice they're there, but the sound is great. They actually block almost all of the noise in my office. The extra long cable is very flexible and more like a light fabric cable than an electronic cable. Extra sponges for the headphones come in handy if they break. Very happy with my purchase!

Ever tried to find replacement foam covers for your headset? I absolutely couldn't for my newest headset. I looked carefully at the photos of the selected options and tried many, but none of them worked. And they are expensive! That's the only reason I bought a new headset, the ear pads on my old one got dirty. I actually tried washing them. Not good. They sort of split up. The downside is that this new headset produces a slightly less clear sound, so 4 instead of 5.

I didn't use this headset for a total of seven days before the right speaker stopped working. The cord didn't actually get tangled at all, but that shouldn't stop the headset from working after just a few days. So if tangles are actually the cause of the speaker's problem, it's even worse. To make matters worse, this headset doesn't fit your ears well and you had to squeeze it to hear hard-to-hear areas of sound, making it useless for transcription purposes unlike this headset. Applied.
