Nice but not worth it

It fits as expected and looks really cute with the reversible option, but I had to wash it after it got dirty. After I (air dried) it, my daughter said all the "lint" was gone and complained that she was cold all the time now. She initially had no complaints, and I was very disappointed with the result after washing (how can you not wash a children's coat?!). I would not recommend this coat.

  • Light but warm. I'm so glad I bought the right size one for next year.
Cons
  • Not suitable for a 7 year old girl, thought I ordered a size 7-8.

Great reversible jacket

Our daughter is a size between 6/6x and 7/8, so we bought a size 7/8. The sleeves are a bit longer but other than that it fits perfectly and she can grow into it and wear it longer. She also likes that it's reversible.

The size chart is misleading.

I really like that this is a lightweight jacket. Suitable for CA. But the size grid doesn't match the label on the jacket. As can be seen in photo S for 4-5 years. On the label of the jacket S(7/8). Must come back a second time.

One of the best buys for kids: well worth the attention and money

I was very pleased with how warm, light, functional and unpretentious these things are (I have two of these for kids). They looked well put together and very comfortable, literally shiny or rainy. Having tried one of them myself, I ended up buying a similar item for myself (a different item but very similar). So solid product.

Pros
  • A little thin. More of a fall or spring jacket for a Minnesota winter. Super cute though.

  • The jacket may not be gender neutral, which means not all potential buyers will like it.

Very good quality at a good price. Warmth and love that it is reversible. My son likes it very much. It is soft and feels very comfortable. Simply.

Warm but not for everyday use

Eddie Bauer usually has quality products but after only 2 months both sides ripped at the side seams. My son wears this every day but I've never had a coat that didn't last all winter. A reversible function is good; I sewed the torn side and will use the other side. Hoping it holds up better.

The perfect jacket! - my new rating

SUCH. Great jacket for the price. 2 jackets in one - warm and not bulky! The pattern and solid fabric are fantastic and the hood is perfect. I recommend this to all my mommy friends!

Ripped seams in my review

The seams kept tearing. Not well done. I ordered one, then it was replaced and this one broke again. My son only wore them for a day or two. Just wear it to school and back.

Warm, light, cute, but the feathers constantly stick out all over the coat, then all the clothes are covered with small white feathers! Very cheaply made

Warm and well done the best in my rating

This coat was big for my 4 (almost 5) year old. We love that it's reversible and versatile. Alert you in cold snowy weather and stay warm and dry.

X-small jacket: my rating

Bought it for my nephew, fits him very well. If your kid is as skinny as mine, they'll be a little loose, but a sweatshirt underneath won't fix anything. Otherwise it looks great and keeps you warm.

The best winter coat for kids

We used this coat 2 winters in the Midwest and my son loves it. He likes that it's light and doesn't restrict his movements. I definitely recommend this jacket.

Excellent jacket in my review.

Had to take XL for my skinny and tall 14's because the L sleeves were too short. Keeps you warm without bulk and fits easily in a backpack or locker. He loves to.

Cute! Reversible! to my rating.

I love that it's like having 2 jackets! We live in a place that gets a lot of rain so this lightweight jacket can be layered over other jackets if needed. I love navy blue colors and flowers!

Nice jacket but feathers come out like that

I really like this jacket but my son handles it a little roughly (like he does with all his clothes) and the feathers come out just fine.

  • It's for Christmas. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the back was. I know my granddaughter ❤️ will do it.

My son loves this! in my rating

My son loves this jacket. He thinks it's so cool that he can wear it however he wants, and he likes that he doesn't have to pull out his sleeves every time (because he can wear the other side). I wish it was a little warmer but it's great that it folds up easily.

Lightweight is good for me

The 4T fits my 3 year old well but she is a bit big for her age. It's well made, it's not as heavy as I expected. She loves it so we're keeping it - hopefully it will keep her warm on those cold winter days!

Warm and sweet! good for me

I love this jacket so much! By the way, I'm an adult. I'm slim and slender but not overly petite and this jacket fits well yet is roomy enough to be layered. Last winter I went camping recently and just wore a long sleeve and fleece underneath and it kept me warm even when it was 40F and 30F. Definitely recommend! The versatility is great and it's so easy to switch up depending on your mood and outfit. The colorful print is also very cute, but you might notice that only the solid color side is…
