6 of 8 on spark plugs and wire

These things are too long. The connector cover itself touches my long pipe on cylinder #3. Chevrolet 2500 6.0 2008. The rest is fine but I figured these were made for clearance issues like this. The wires have more slack than the OEM, so in places they are closer to the pins with the connectors. The second failed within a few months on my #8 cylinder.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Wire is shorter than other options

2003 Yukon XL: Cable

I love these connectors. Anyone who has worked with a 5.3L Vortec knows how difficult #8 is on the passenger side. Unscrew the dipstick and hope you have nimble and healthy hands. I have XXL hands, it was a test of the strongest. Either way, they fit perfectly and aren't too long for a 2003 Yukon XL LM4 5.3L aluminum block. They shoot great and outperform standard dephi junk. MADE IN THE USA, BABY!

Good wires - wires

Good wires, strong and reliable. Installed about 100km ago. Just had to tune my 2010 Sierra 5.3L engine. I haven't noticed any improvement in mileage as I carry $%& with me most of the time. The wires are a bit long. No problem with my aftermarket headers. For some it may be helpful to rotate the end of the connector that comes with the coil pack to get the wire out of the way if you have short/long connectors. The cables have not caused any problems so far. The factory replacement ohms are…

Impressed. On Wire Kits

Bought these on a whim with low expectations for a performance increase for a 75,000 mile 6.0L L96 engine. The coil on the rail usually dies before the connector wires are shorted/deteriorated. Although I had no issues with ignition prior to using the factory plug wires, they DEFINITELY added some smoothness to idle and acceleration. Of course, these are all jokes, but as an example, I could definitely say if an AC capacitor speeds up. I can't now. I would STRONGLY suggest getting some wire…

They match my 4.8hp, no noticeable increase in power

Installed on GMC Sierra 4.8L 2011, they click a little weaker than OE. The truck seems to perform just as well, if not a little better. They are thicker than the originals but also an inch or two longer so I gave 4 stars, these plugs are for LS motors but Edelbrock can't figure out the length properly. I think the performance gain will be more noticeable. if they were the right length. The truck used more fuel after installation, and I did everything very carefully, including gaping candles. I…

Good quality. Looks nice.

I haven't tested if they actually output 50 ohms/ft. For such a price, it's very difficult to get past it. I ordered new ones but the wires were definitely taken out of the box and put back before I received them, they were a little dirty/worn. I replaced my spark plugs with acdelco OEM iridium spark plugs. Between the new connectors and these wires, I noticed a pretty significant improvement in idle smoothness and power (the old connectors were actually still in great shape). The cables are…

Pros
  • Permanent test results
Cons
  • Short manual

Fits perfectly and is very easy to assemble.

Bought for other ignition work on my 2007 Tahoe 5.3L. It was time to tune in as my truck was giving out CEL PO301 codes here and there. I thought the truck was approaching 188k and the previous wires and connectors were almost 90-100k. I purchased this wire set along with NGK Iridium plugs and Red High Performance coils. The wires are a bit longer than the high power ACDelcos I've had before, but this was perfect as my new coils required longer wires. Took me about 1.5 hours to install all 8. I

Cables fit great 2003 Chevy Avalanche 5.3L

118,000 miles. 2003 Chevrolet Avalanche 5.3 liters. Installing these wires was easy and perfect! The hardest part of this job is taking the old wires and disconnecting them! It was difficult to get wires, the players then pulled very hard. The wires broke and the boot was left on the pug, cut off with a knife. Using a small set of needle pointers, remove the shoe. Removed the old fork with various extensions. I used a short pretty wrench with a broken rod. A short ratchet with many teeth suited
