Charges the same as Apple's official Magsafe charger, although the magnets appear to be slightly weaker than the official ones. The wood finish looks very nice and feels solid, but I wish there was a rubber/silicone ring around the edge to keep it in place and avoid scratches on cases and the phone itself. Overall this is a great affordable replacement for the official Magsafe charger or for travel/work so you don't have to worry about losing an expensive Apple.
