Efficient Self-Healing Cutting Mat For Flawless Crafting - WORKLION 18X18" With 17" Grid Review

I’m working on a new n scale layout, it’s been over 25 years since I’ve built one. So I needed something to protect my office desk from cuts and glue from building models and this fits the bill. It works and my only regret is that I did not purchase it sooner.

These mats are great for a worktable where you're cutting, soldering, measuring, gluing stuff. I guess that's why all the neat guys are using them.

I use this mat with my TV tray to cut 2 x 2 quilting squares while I watch TV. The mat is well-made and is a good value for the money.

Works absolutely perfectly. I was skeptical of the "self-healing" feature, but it's true! A brand new #11 Xacto blade doesn't even leave a mark. The measuring and squaring reference lines are great too!

I have not made up my mind completely on this mat. The self-healing works perfectly.just rub it and the line goes away. The inches are marked on the green side. And I do NOT like the light yellow markings. They are very difficult to see. I have excellent daylight coming in through an 8' window by day and overhead spots by night. This cutting mat is superior to all the others I have ordered in the past. I make custom leather goods and holsters, so I use them alot.

I’ve been piecing and quilting for over 20 years and rotary cutting is the only way to go. Having a convenient mat is essential.

Please consider this self-healing mat when using an X-Acto knife. It's easy to forget this warning when you wish to quickly trim something. However, that can result in a time-consuming repair project. The Worklion mats are an inexpensive and valued addition to my shop. I highly recommend it.

Former purchases from other companies were really 8 by 11". This one's grid is accurately 9 by 12". Excellent quality. The grid could be confusing for beginners.

This is just what I needed. I make miniatures as a hobby. This is just the right size for my work bench. The grid is a great help.

The Cutting Mat was definitely a great deal. When I started using it to cut out pieces to assemble for a piece of artwork, I noticed how the cuts were almost invisible. My last Cutting Mat I purchased in the 90s, and after all these years, it was starting to show its age. If you check what's out there, this is really best choice.
