These 1156 LED bases won't fit in the car socket because they aren't deep enough. If you try to twist them the way they are attached they will literally twist. I would not recommend them. It takes a lot to leave a bad review for me, but that's no good.

I've only had them a few days but so far I've tested them and all (10) work fine. I'll come back if/when they start failing. The build quality is as expected at the lowest level and sufficient to be functional. I think that's why they fail so quickly. It didn't take long for me to go through these bulbs and re-solder the connections. I'm willing to bet that this is the cause of the errors.

I don't know how long they last but they are bright. I installed a kit on my Husqvarna TS354D to replace the bulbs. Huge difference! One thing I noticed is that the positive pin on the bottom is too short for a socket. I had to lift the pin in the socket for proper seating. I also turned the first one into two parts with little effort. Be careful with it when installing. Cheap but effective product.

I was hoping that these LED bulbs would be brighter than the regular 1156 bulbs they replaced. I mean they are rated at 650 lumens while incandescent bulbs are rated at 405 lumens. They're also higher up the color scale, making them appear a bit bluer. Very noticeable with 2 pairs of lights in the motorhome. Overall they are good but expected a lot more. Typically, LEDs are much brighter than incandescent bulbs. I expect them to last a lot longer than regular incandescent bulbs.

These are great for my RV, much brighter than incandescent bulbs and don't get hot. I messed up the first one by screwing it into the socket like the old style, but these LEDs can't handle twisting. Not the product's fault and luckily I had a few extras. My wife said the van was a bit dark but not now! She likes the brightness and I like the minimal drain on the battery and generator.

These lights are tested to VERY poor quality. LED lights are said to last thousands of hours. In about 4 weeks I changed 6 out of 10 fixtures into just 2 fixtures! After a few weeks, they begin to flicker heavily and do not stop. You can turn them off, let them cool, and turn them back on and they're fine until they get hot. then they start flickering again. DO NOT BUY these bulbs. waste of money. I tried to send a notification to the company but didn't get a response. GARBAGE.

These lights work great in my RV and now I can turn on multiple lights at night without worrying too much about dead batteries. They draw about 0.19 amps each, compared to 1.2/1.3 for older incandescent bulbs. It's about 1/6 the current, so it's a big difference. I didn't notice a burning smell or anything that some others have mentioned, but I did notice that some of my lights were wired backwards, causing the bulbs to not work.
