Came with a broken propeller.

The pump looks good at first glance, but when I opened it to check (because it was needed) I found that the propeller was broken.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Not everything fits

small and mighty.

Wish it was designed differently, requires a mental tube requiring a 90 degree copper turn to mount the pump on the side window instead of on the floor. The Germans build pumps in the bottom of their tanks.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Replace your Fluval 15

A few months ago I bought a Fluval 15 aquarium. The standard pump draws too much current and I find that the water is drawn through the medium too quickly for this small aquarium. Tried something to slow the flow. Not satisfied, YouTube video suggested this pump. Before installation I set the adjustable flow to half and everything was perfect. The pump is absolutely silent. Hope it lasts forever

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • No automatic controller

Great for my 5 gallon tank

I bought these to use as a circulating pump in my 5 gallon tank. The flow rate range is wide enough for me, I use about the minimum flow rate. Has been running non-stop for a month now with no problems. The only small problem is that the power cord is too thick for the size of the pump. The force generated by the cable causes the pump to move and makes it difficult to find a suitable position and position of the cable. It looks like the manufacturer just used what was available. A thinner…

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

) It looks exactly like the picture and fits perfectly in the back.

This product is confusing because the pump shown is not an Eheim 300. I bought an Eheim 300 (80 GPH) from Rescue Pet Supply and they sent me an Eheim 600 (160 GPH). Picture and fits perfectly in the back of my Oceanic Biocube 14 but too strong for my needs. So I re-ordered the same pump from TopDawg Pet Supply and they sent me the correct pump, but it's not the same as the picture. The 80 gpm flow is ideal and very quiet but the pump looks like an Eheim compact 1000. Slightly confusing post but

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
