Leaks because it does not fit 5/8 pipe. Otherwise it was well made and easy to assemble even though it was in a different language.

Be sure to order the correct size. I chose the wrong size and couldn't use it because it didn't fit my tubing size. It's otherwise well done.

Definitely looks 1000% better than green. But that's not why I bought it. It's difficult to point three tubes in three different directions, but it circulates MUCH better than before. I can still get an eheim external filter and will consider it a must-buy.

I just replaced the last sprinkler bar on my API setups with these models. The more traditional Eheim sprayer provides better surface agitation than the fan sprayer used by API. I've also found that when the water level is low there is less water spraying out of the tank since I don't have a cap on my 55 or 180. I used a metal threaded neck to ensure the connections were secure.

Great idea, poor execution. The swirl is great, but the tube size is not. Flow is important not only in surface movement but also in tank movement. These sprinklers are huge in diameter, almost twice if not twice the diameter of the original green tube. Even green pipes lose head pressure once the filters get a little dirty it feels like a trickle, especially with a smaller canister filter like the 2213. If you're using the 2217 in a 29 or 30 gallon tank it could the case may be ideal…

I was hoping the water would come back with a little more pressure to mix the tank better. It works great and by changing the return angle I can make it kick up the water surface. My main problem with this type of filtration was the aeration of the water. It really helps and installation was quick and easy. If it had been designed with more inverted holes but smaller it would have had a more reactive action and that would have given it 5 stars. In any case, the ventilation is much better than…
