You pay a little more for Eheim products, but you get what you pay for. My Eheim filter system worked quietly and flawlessly.

Fits perfectly with my Eheim 2213 External Filter. No cutting or stretching required. The water became crystal clear within an hour or two. The old fine filter was absolutely disgusting. This is a welcome addition to my filter. 10/10

This item I am reviewing is a coarse filter for the eheim 250, a product no longer sold directly in the US. The coarse filter insert works as expected. I don't know why Revain gives us the option to rate it on suction power and noise level, so I'm hoping this rating is for the right product?

Good filter. I've never had any problems with filters. They're not expensive, but you should be able to find them online. The classic 2213 is a good system. They're a bit overpriced due to the number of gallons they can effectively clean. When buying a filter, get a larger filter than you need. The Classic proved unable to handle a 55-gallon tank. There is an Eco Pro filter to work with classics. Both do a good job of staying clean. Def. Get a larger size than your tank.

They arrived quickly and although the Eheim box and contents were slightly dented it didn't matter as the filter mats are not fragile. They appear to be genuine Eheim pads, which is important because I didn't want to expose my fish to cheap fakes that contain more than they should. It's very tempting to buy an unbranded product or make your own when you see the price pet stores are charging for it, but at this price you can afford to buy the real thing and have peace of mind because you know it
