The best price for such a product, I will buy more!

I didn’t immediately figure out how to drive water into it with the on . I bought an eheim prefilter for it - but taking into account the thickness of the soil 5+ cm, the prefilter rested on the ground, and the tube stuck out higher than the hole was made under it - in plastic, so the lid did not close = (I thought about sawing off the pipe a little, but for now I decided to remove / scoop out the soil to the bottom from under the prefilter (an aquarium of 200 liters - 50 cm high - removed the…

Pros
  • Quiet - VERY QUIET!
Cons
  • a little expensive

My 200l aquarium became cloudy (the color of the water looked like milk was splashed), the previous filter was rather weak, I decided to buy this shopping mall, the reviews are very positive, everything came whole, they installed it, but alas, the water was not cleared in 4 days. I had to lay a rag in the middle tray, yes, yes, a microfiber rag in 2 layers and already in a day the water was like a tear. The aquarium stands in the bedroom, it is completely inaudible, the water is only slightly…

Pros
  • Quiet
Cons
  • Slow cleans

Wonderful quality, one hundred percent satisfied!

An excellent filter, it doesn’t flow quietly, it’s better to buy another prefilter, the flow will decrease especially if the aquarium is less than 250 liters + the filter itself will become less clogged, after a month my hoses have become dirty, but so far, which is tolerable, it will be better with a prefilter, but with a filter need to be cleaned frequently, especially after algae infestations or after setting up the aquarium

Pros
  • Excellent German quality
Cons
  • Everything is fine

Goodbye HOB: Aquarium Pumps and Filters

This is my first canister filter and overall I like it, much better than my old HOB. My only complaints are: 1. Cleaning and replacing the impeller is disappointing, wish there was an easier way to do this without feeling like I'm going to break it. 2. I bought a 65 gallon model for my 29 gallon tank thinking it would be too strong but I think I could go up a model and be happier. I have an inlet guard to protect my shrimp and I can see what is being sucked into the filter. Most of the garbage…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

My 3rd Eheim in the Aquarium Pumps and Filters

I have a large Eheim and a 125 round Eheim canister filter. I bought this 55 gallon with HOB and it works great. quiet. I don't like the round one because it's too tricky to assemble and I broke the handle on it once. This design is way better and looks like a big one. My big one has been running for three years with no problems and you have to put your hands on it to say it works. This one uses 12 watts and some on the market use 90 watts. I will not even endorse another external filter…

Nice filter, with experience. 😍

Nice filter, DO NOT listen to other reviews! My grandfather has had aquariums all his life, he has always been on Eheim products, he has used Eheim filters all the time and he has never had a problem with them. I use this filter on my 20 gallon tank and have the water trap set very low so the flow isn't as strong and picks up all the dirt from the bottom. I have been using this filter for 1 month. and it's absolutely amazing, it's quiet, it's powerful, it keeps my water clean and healthy. I…

Very difficult to start

Just like German cars (BMW) this piece of fine German technology has a very interesting and innovative technology. However, the question is, is it reliable or does it work all the time? The same applies to this EHEIM filter/pump. It is very difficult to get the pump/filter to work (pump water into the aquarium). If you unplug or lose power, you need to do the following: first disconnect the hoses, then: 1) remove literally all water from the canisters and containers. 2) remove all canisters. 3)

  • Few competitors

  • Safety

Terrible filter! in aquarium pumps and filters

I really hate this filter. This is the MOST PERMANENT filter ever and I have several classic Eheim filters that work great forever. This was my upgrade to the more expensive Eheim and one of the newest! I was so excited. Now I'm so disappointed. I've had it since October 2020. When it works, it works fine. But if for some reason it should stop, the power goes out or you need to clean it. thing except bottom up! You can never stop it and then start again, ever. If you then try to run it again…

Outperforms non-professional versions and hardly more expensive

This (per 4 250) has the following advantages over the non-professional 150 versions:- Easier to clean due to the hose mechanism design and you re-tighten the shells up and out of the filter. No water drops anywhere. Much higher flow rate. This is to be expected, but keep in mind that the difference in price is negligible. Now that I have the eheim 150 I would never put it in a tank larger than 10 gallons even though it is rated for 40 gallons. It's just not true if you want a decent stream.…

Great product, but beware of ordering here! Broken!

The product has 5 stars. Without a doubt, this is the Rolls Royce of canister filters. It's completely silent. Works like a Prius. Easy to prime. Primed on the first try with no problems. Make sure your water is in the reservoir above the inlet and outlet and make sure the flow switch is fully open. That being said, I think there is a REASON this product is $99. The first device I received in the box was incredibly broken, it had a BROKEN CLAMP and one of the trays inside was also broken…

I love this filter.

I installed this in my 30 gallon saltwater aquarium with about 60 corals. It worked so well! The process is excellent. I like the pre-filter. In a reef aquarium I like to remove the filter thread twice a week. This design greatly simplifies the process of removing, cleaning and replacing the pre-filter without having to remove everything in the filter itself. I clean the entire filter once a week. Most people don't need to do this weekly, but I recommend it when used in a reef system. The…
