I bought other brand ink cartridges for my printer brother and most of them ran out after a few prints when they were half full. These ejection cartridges work very well, I've printed over 20 pages and they're still reading full. I would definitely recommend this brand and buy it myself. Worth the price.

this ink works great! The printer screen itself may show that the ink level cannot be read because the ink is not Brother branded ink. but your computer will still be able to tell you that. nothing to fear at all. but the mascara works great! I am very comfortable!

These ink tanks are hard to beat and work just as well as the original supplier bottles. I had no trouble opening the package, reading the documentation, and installing new tanks. My printer recognized them immediately, behind a little "?" For tanks that don't get in the way of the visual indication of the level status on the screen, I can't fault those tanks. This ink ruined my printer. The ink bleeds everywhere and doesn't last long. Load new ink to start printing again, but no new ink is detected. The print comes out as if my printer needs new ink. GARBAGE! Discarding the remaining (new) ink. It's a complete mess!

A word of warning: your printer cannot read the remaining ink levels in these cartridges, but that shouldn't surprise you. I was very disappointed with the print quality I got with mine. Especially on black. Lines would be missing and I would have to run a nozzle cleaning program. This happened with both black cartridges I've used. They also seemed to run out of ink quicker than branded brands.

Since the last update on my printer, all the inks read like Mark's question and none have worked yet. Now I can copy and print! :) and I can see the ink levels when I go into my printers and turn off my computer!

I printed a whole album for my dad for Christmas and when my j480dw brother went broke I bought a cheaper model. but the quality is still amazing. I tried replacing my brother with an HP Envy but I had to change cartridges about every 10 photos! My brother's ink lasts forever and these cartridges are even bigger! My printer says it doesn't recognize them, but they still work great. I will definitely buy again

I bought the branded ink on the market a while back and it was terrible. They didn't register properly with my Brother (which is fine) but what really annoyed me was that he only delivered about 50 prints before saying it was empty and I needed to refill. When I shook the ink after removing it, there was still a lot of ink. I was so disgusted. I bought these expecting similar results but I'm happy to say they were great.
