Ideal for "fussy cutting ".

I do quite a bit of "tedious cutting": creating 3-D decoupage tricks from multiple prints of the same design, cutting out different layers and joining them with thin double-sided foam tape. This means I need scissors that can make the tiny, detailed cuts needed to achieve the desired effects. These EK Success Cutter Bee scissors are the perfect solution. Inferior in value to previous purchase

I bought these Michaels shears many years ago - I absolutely fell in love with this pair. I wanted a second pair for my TV zone so I bought these - my first pair were Taiwanese stamped and I use them for trimming tape and washi and for fussy cutting because they don't stick and the blades are still terribly sharp. . This new set is from China and the blades aren't that thin and the tips are downright bad - don't believe the non-stick they claim because they're just scissor blades. The grips are

DO NOT BUY! suitable for crafting

Ignore the good reviews written some years ago when these scissors were made in Taiwan because now they are made in China and you can't cut to the tip anymore. A full quarter inch from the top of my pair wouldn't even cut through thin paper. They are completely useless for picky cutting. Look at the date of the review and you'll see that many recent reviewers have noted this as well. So I was disappointed. The best scissors in the house!

I have several scissors for cutting parts, but I use them when I need to cut parts with sharp edges. I'm 81 and they don't tire my hand when I use them for long periods of time to cut intricate patterns out of paper. My old pair are 5 years old and have been used many times and stay sharp and accurate so I can confirm they are long lasting and stay sharp. I've ordered another pair because sometimes I lose my old pair and have to use some of my other brands that don't come close to this quality.

Sharp, small, precise!

I love paper crafts (postcard making, scrapbooking, scrapbooking) and sewing. I have tried many small scissors including more expensive brands. I was looking for a small pair of scissors to use for "picky cutting". Cutting intricate patterns (e.g. flowers with leaves and stems). Happy to say I LOVE these Cutter Bees!
