Excellent product, needs improvement

Bought for scrapbooking. Cuts great. I don't like that I have to use repositionable tape/glue to hold my cut out photos. If you don't mind using tape/glue the product is great. You will need a cutting mat (I bought one made of glass) as the blade will cut through the surface if you don't.

  • Large selection

Papers! on Craft Supplies

When I picked this cutter, I didn't realize that the entire cut would be made inside the circle. Other kits I've seen allow you to hold the paper in place and place a circular pattern over the area, press down and cut out. These kits are much easier to use. The good thing about this cutter is that it can be ANY size from 1 to 6 inches. But the paper/photo will slip off if you don't stick it on the cutting mat. In the end I am not satisfied with my purchase.

Pros
  • Well built
Cons
  • Sad packaging

Great product for paper circles, no photo

This is a great product for cutting paper circles. The white button precisely adjusts the diameter of the circle with inch and centimeter markings. The extra cylinder is a pencil/pen holder if you just want to draw and not cut. Like the first reviewer, if you want to cut out something smaller like a photo, round scissors won't hold it in place. Also, don't use a self-healing matβ€”your blade will dull and stick to the paper through a dozen cuts. Get a glass mat, the CS cuts VERY smoothly and the…

Pros
  • Dope πŸ”₯
Cons
  • No mold required

I bought it because I was looking for a circle cutter that doesn't leave a mark in the middle of my circle (look at you Olfa) and I have no doubt that this thing can cut circles . Take some paper, put your cutter on it, set the radius and get to work. It couldn't be easier. However, if you want to cut a circle around a shape or cut a circle at a specific location, forget it. The plastic center marks are utterly useless as they are about half an inch above the surface to be cut.

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • No productivity

Terrible circle cutter!

I wanted to cut out a circle for scrapbooking and looked at a few before deciding. I chose this one based on the reviews I received. I am very disappointed in this meat grinder. It's almost impossible to position the cutter over the image to cut the circle in the right place. And even sticking on small pictures and pieces of paper didn't completely prevent them from moving or wrinkling when cut. I had a lot of trouble cutting out small circles - from 1 to 1 1/2 inches. It seemed that the bigger

Great Product!: Craft Supplies

I'm new to scrapbooking and one day when I had to use circles for my template I found that they weren't as easy to create as they had to be cut out using scissors. A quick web search brought me to scraptime.ca, a great site where Christina, a professional scrapbooker, demonstrates via video how to use all types of scrapbooking. I never realized how big and complex the world of scrapbooking can be. I would recommend this site to anyone new to scrapbooking. This will definitely help you choose…
