Ekena Millwork CMP13TR Traditional Thermoformed Review

I needed to cover an electrical box and some ceiling damage under a ceiling fan. It's very light and very thin. It was very flat. I used some caulk as glue to stick it to the ceiling and then installed the fan mount onto the medallion. It's white and looks good. I could probably spray it to try and match the fan. I was very pleased with the price of this blanket medallion. I also like that it was easy to remove even though it had a few black spots. A little late cleaning with a magic eraser and a few dabs with my washcloth and it's looking pretty good. The outside edges don't line up perfectly with the ceiling all the way around, but my ceiling isn't completely flat, so it's not frustrating at all. There are many medallions out there but not many that can mount a flush mount ceiling fan. Obviously this is that type of accommodation and it is perfect for my needs. I spray painted my antique bronze to match the Hunter fan I installed and while the colors aren't perfect they blend easily. I think this ceiling medallion is good quality and a great price. The thickness is similar to a bleach can (heavy plastic). Some reviewers complained that it doesn't sit flush with the ceiling, but not for me. Sits straight with no problems.
