I needed to cover an electrical box and some ceiling damage under a ceiling fan. It's very light and very thin. It was very flat. I used some caulk as glue to stick it to the ceiling and then installed the fan mount onto the medallion. It's white and looks good. I could probably spray it to try and match the fan. I only gave 4 stars because there is a small gap on the outer edge. In fact, the medallion is shaped with a small gap. I don't understand why the locket wasn't sculpted with a slight error on the outer edge. It's barely noticeable, but can be worse for some people.
