Elago Upgraded AirPods Dust Guard (Matte Gold Review

Never been able to attach them as they are adhesive and metal and the magnet on the AirPods charging case doesn't let me attach perfectly so it doesn't hang off the edge, where the AirPods are inserted. Good idea and the pictures looked cool but I couldn't apply it.

Maybe I'm too clumsy, but I couldn't place this article correctly and I gave up. The material (whatever it is) is too thin and not stiff enough making placement impossible, at least for me. I'm assuming it's a thin sheet of metal, but it's so thin that it flexes against the AirPods case and the adhesive sticks in the wrong place. I tried to post this 5 or 6 times before I gave up.

Although it is metal, the slightest adjustment will age the item. The grip is great and that's the problem. Once this metal-coated sticker touches the top or bottom opening of the AirPod case, it will stick. There is absolutely no room for error here and that gives this product one star. I personally would not recommend this product.

I installed it about 1 week ago. The dust cover certainly helps keep the inside of my AirPod case clean to some extent, and the gold finish makes it look pretty. However, they were very difficult to install and it took a while to get the top and bottom pieces to fit properly. Don't take. I'm the type of guy who likes to "protect" all the tech I get, but this piece of foil is one of the biggest wastes of money you can get for airfields. Being metal, dust or small particles can get inside them, making cleaning very difficult. It's easier without a case because the plastic surface of the Airpods case can be wiped with a cotton swab. Also this product is SUPER annoying to put on, I have precision tweezers and even with them it was difficult. The film sticks to airfields
