It helps. I found it better to pay attention to the fact that the back strap is very low. I held it too high at first, untied the top middle strap to loosen it again, feel much better.

I think the people who gave this one star didn't know how to put it properly. At first I thought it would fit, but after trying a few different ways it fits like a charm and is very comfortable.

Absolutely useless, waste of money., regret this purchase, would give negative stars if I could. Unless you have a huge head, this won't work as intended. The strap is too long, even if I tighten it as tight as possible, it just hangs too loose. DO NOT BUY THIS!

I don't know what those 1 star jerks did to their group but mine works like a charm. I think if you had a huge head the size of a Neanderthal it wouldn't work. But I'm an older woman who plays my quest every day, and this thing works like berries. Well done, thick and takes all the weight off my face. Winner!

This thing is a game changer, before that the search hurt my cheeks and forehead so much that I couldn't play for more than an hour, but now all the anticipation is rising in my head and the search barely stops at my face! It's so convenient now. Easily costs $10 for what it does. It doesn't seem to be the case in most one star reviews, make sure the strap is on the front of the head just behind the forehead.
