Strong grip. - Boys

Actually use them on my husband's winter hat with ears. We fasten each flap under his chin so they fit snugly against his head, which blocks the wind and keeps his ears warm. If you have a fuller face/neck they may not be long enough for the same use. They are of excellent quality and perfectly suited for their purpose.

  • Easy to use

Great as a Covid-19 mask extender - no longer sticks to ears

I use these in combination with the Covid-19 mask. I have issues with mask loops digging into my ears over time. I wear a large mask when a certain size is available, but the ear loops still don't work properly. These straps are the perfect length to attach any ear hook and the mask now buttons around my full head just below the ears.

Very strong clips for accessories

These mitten clips have good elastic plastic/metal clips that do not damage knitted cuffs. Once attached, the hold is very strong. The child could not detach them and they could not easily detach when playing. The length is perfect for little ones. They're short enough to stay out of the way and long enough for preschoolers to slip on their own mittens. Excellent quality. Good price.

Pros
  • The best in their niche
Cons
  • Working speed

Other outdoor use

Due to DVT the doctor wants me to wear thigh high compression stockings and as a male it was definitely a new experience. The compression stocking kept slipping off my leg so I needed something to hold it up. These mittens are perfect for that. I attach one end to the top of the compression stocking and the other end to a nylon strap that I hook into my belt loop or around my waist.

Versatility came in handy

I *didn't* use them for mittens. The gym I use is open but the showers are not. So when I get in the car after training, I put a large terry towel on the driver's seat so I don't get wet. But the towel keeps falling; There is nothing holding it in contact with the seat back. I use these clips to attach the towel to the headrest. Problem solved! And the clips are strong enough to hold the towel firmly in place. (I'm sure they'll work well with mittens too.)

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Alternative to the lifebuoy bracelet

Because I'm old and disabled, I wear a lifebuoy bracelet. The velcro tears within the first three months and dangles around your wrist until you drive insane. Instead of providing a new bracelet, they force you to send a whole button, which still works great. so I spit in their soup, buy clips for your mittens and cut off the old strip there leaving just enough to attach the clips. now the device works great and slides over my hand and comes off like a wrist watch. very convenient. looks good…

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Clips for mittens! YUP! for boys

Growing up, I got tired of losing my mittens all the time. I was amazed that I couldn't find them or even find someone at the local Walmart who knew what I was asking for and I was in the kids department. They work fine for me. The only thing I think, and maybe just because I'm an adult using a baby product on much larger mittens, is that the minimum length could be a bit shorter. I keep getting mittens when they're off, stuck in the car door. But it's cold outside, and when I take a lot of…
