I use this to chop up apples for my smoothies. The thing is fast and suitable for fairly large apples. Easy to center and press. Phew all done. Even separates the core, just pull out when it's stuck, overall works fine. I like it.

won't cut through the apple completely - lets all the pieces stick together because the skin on the underside won't cut because the blade isn't inserted deep enough into the holder . The brand my sister has is catching on.

I love apples but I love cutting them. When we moved I couldn't find my football and had to buy a new one. It was an excellent choice. Be careful because they do a great job, the blades are really sharp so if you're like me and clean the blades with your fingers, be careful lol. But apples cut well! Thank you!

I'm not a fan of gadgets but my friend used a similar product and I realized how much quicker and easier a quality apple corer/slicer would be. I found it and received it very quickly. It works like a dream, fast and easy to use. Can be washed quickly or thrown in the dishwasher. The only thing that could improve this would be if someone did it for me. Jay Kay! :_)

I use it for delicious golden apples from my own tree. First, turn the slicer upside down and place the apple stalk in the middle hole. Then gently press the apple and move it around until you pierce the skin. Turn it over and the slicer will push down easily. Remove the core first and there are usually eight slices left on the cutting board.

I used this cutter a few days ago and then my wife tried it today. She couldn't even put it through the apple. In both cases I had to manually separate the cuts from the tool because it didn't cut all the way to the cutting board. Each of us was splashed with apple juice. I don't know if we had particularly juicy apples (but different varieties) or just because of the apparent stupidity of the cutters the juice squirted out. We will certainly not use it again.
