Unstable adapter in computer accessories and peripherals

I connected an adapter to 2 HDMI, a USB-A device and a USB-C charger. While the adapter generally works, it has problems 'waking up'. My monitors end up showing a very low resolution and I have to disconnect/reconnect the adapter to reset it. Sometimes one of my monitors goes completely blank for 2-3 seconds which is a bit annoying. So the adapter works about 90% of the time, but it's very annoying when it doesn't work.

Cannot be extended as two separate unique monitors with Win10, only duplicates!

I was very disappointed with this because it states that the image can clearly be extended to two different monitors as two separate desktops, but this doesn't work with Windows 10! I tried using discrete graphics card and Intel integrated graphics but neither of them allowed distinct desktops. Duplicating a laptop image to two screens works fine, or duplicating both monitors from each other, but I can't make the two HDMI outputs clear! All drivers have been updated and I am using a newer HP…

Doesn't work with Revain Prime Video

Two stars because it works great most of the time. However, this is not a properly mounted USB-C device and has HDCP issues that cause Revain Prime Videos to disable any external monitors connected to the hub. I was able to quickly verify that it wasn't one of my devices and then found many instances of people having this issue when using cheap USB-C devices.
