USES: Connect appliances, night lamp, tree lights, musical equipment etc. or three since there are 3 outlets. You can sit and relax far from the outlet and device and still control them by the tap of your foot. ITEM DESCRIPTION: Cord starts with a grounded 3 prong plug at one end - then comes the foot switch after 4 ft of wire - then is the rest of the wire till the end where you have 3 grounded outlets. FOOT SWITCH: Simply tap with your foot on the switch and all plugged in devices will turn on. Tap once again, to get them powered off. SAFETY: Features twist-lock receptors so kids cannot stick in other wires in the unused outlets. LIGHT INDICATOR: When the footswitch is turned on, the indicator lights will glow. When it's turned off, there will be a small glow so that you know to locate the footswitch in the darkness. HIGH QUALITY: 16/3 cord to give you years of use. UL LISTED / 16AWG / 13 AMPS / 125 VOLT / 1625 WATTS {when using incandescent lamp it is best only with 500W}.

Well made and comfortable

This cable is very well designed. I bought it to turn my LED string on and off with a switch that controls on/off and 8 lighting settings. This cord allows me to easily turn the string of lights on and off with my foot, leaving the lighting setting on my string of lights at our favorite "stable white" rather than cycling through all the settings with a small push button switch at the bottom. next to an outlet every time we turned it on and off.

Light not working

Looked good when I received it. It is used behind our microwave in our van. We built in a fan to cool the microcontroller and connected this extension to it. When it's plugged in, there's a light on the whole time (probably to let you know it's got juice). When pressed, 2 LEDs will light up to let you know the fan is on. After 2 days one LED stopped working. The main thing is to get it out (you'll have to remove the micro), so live with one on the LED for now. I wonder when it will burn out and

break through! Excellent quality footswitch with grounding

I purchased this footswitch extension along with other sizes and colors from the same company. You are absolutely amazing! I knew I could trust this brand as I have bought other extension cords from this company in the past and have been very happy with the quality. First I have to say this looks like a great quality item that will last a lifetime. I like the backlight that lets you know the status of the connected device. Power On/Off – Turn device on/off.
