This cable is very well designed. I bought it to turn my LED string on and off with a switch that controls on/off and 8 lighting settings. This cord allows me to easily turn the string of lights on and off with my foot, leaving the lighting setting on my string of lights at our favorite "stable white" rather than cycling through all the settings with a small push button switch at the bottom. next to an outlet every time we turned it on and off.
