Excellent product so far. Water does not come into contact with any plastic and stainless steel dries very quickly if you leave the lid open (when empty, of course). The only complaint is that it's obviously right-handed because the indicator light is on the wrong side when I place it on the base with my left hand. Not a big deal, I just noticed.

The example I received looked used. The top is actually plastic and it looks like I've melted from the heat. There is a hole inside the kettle that leads to the plastic handle. This plastic was colored yellow because it had obviously been used before. The shell is not well suited for electric bass and is very wobbly. I was very excited about it, but now that I've seen it in person, I'm very disappointed.

I wouldn't recommend this. The contents boiled away on first use. I followed the advice but decided to give it a second chance because I thought I had done something wrong. The second try was no better. I was careful not to add too much liquid, in fact I added just enough to keep the level just above the minimum. After 5 minutes he also boiled. It's just not worth the money considering I have to spend more lime cleaning up a mess than enjoying hot cocoa. I won't be using this anymore.

You all have to understand how AESTHETIC that is. listen, i understand But does it heat the water? Yes of course. This is a kettle. "Does it heat water quickly?" Yes, of course. This is a kettle. "Is it high quality?" What are you going to do to make it last 20,000 miles under water? This is a kettle. You are here because you need a kettle and you don't want to pay a lot of money for it. You want it to work. This is a kettle that doesn't cost a lot of money and works. Just buy it.

I read reviews that some people had rust issues so I waited to write my review. I've had this kettle for a few months now and couldn't be happier with it. Absolutely no rust issues, I use filtered water, not tap water. It heats up quickly and comes to a full boil. My old glass kettle barely boiled. Security is great - the outside doesn't get hot and doesn't even feel warm. This kettle is also easy to clean, the lid opens nice and wide as you can see in the picture. The color is exactly the same
