Description of 💧 Water-Resistant Electrical Extension Protective Compartment

Ultimate Protector for Your Electric Cords and Cables: Wrap our handy cover around your cord connectors to protect them from rain, snow and ice! They’re water resistant to protect against electrical shorts and blowouts! Safety first!. PROTECTIVE COVER CAN FIT UP TO 12 GAUGE CORDS - The protector encasement has a length of 8.25 inches and a diameter of 2.75 inches. The wire entry points can accommodate up to 12-gauge cords while the large plug compartment can comfortably fit average domestic electrical outlet plugs including 3-prong plugs. The opening is only 0.4-inch, ensuring that the fit will be tight no matter the size of the cord. HEAVY-DUTY PLASTIC WITH RUBBER SEALS - Durable and watertight, these connector covers are perfect for home and shop use. The high-quality molded plastic case has rubber seals on all edges with a solid and tight seal on wire entry points. No more water entering into the cord connectors and absolutely no more accidental unplugging!. CAPSULE-SHAPED PROTECTOR WITH SECURE CLOSURE - The capsule shape is a functional design choice. It allows water to just slide down from the protector's surface, adding extra water-repelling action. Not only that, but the protector has a double closure design. Rubberized snap closure ensures a watertight fit while the overlapping cover ensures that the protector won't accidentally open. CAUTION: Outdoor extension cord plug protectors should not be submerged in water for a prolonged period. Even the most waterproof materials are not infinitely impervious to water. This is especially true with objects that have seams.

Reliable protection - cords, adapters and power strips

Cats started an electrical fire in my utility room - it was my fault - my circuits were too open and the cats would mark their territory. Luckily I was in the room at that point, quickly put out the fire and immediately put everything I needed in it so it never happened again. A vulnerability is created when one power strip is plugged into another, and this lifetime device has everything it takes to protect against that vulnerability. This makes me feel safe. hp I actually did my best and…

Very durable and waterproof covers for extension cords

Needed several heavy duty waterproof extension cord covers for my outdoor landscape lighting system. If it rains very heavily, unprotected extension cord terminals will get wet, causing circuit breakers to trip. I saw these extension sleeves on Revain.com and decided to give it a try. After each extension plug was inserted into these covers and the covers snapped into place, the next rain came and there was no tripping. After the rain stopped I opened each lid to see if water had gotten into…

No instructions.

I ordered a green and red package. The green color is so dark that at first I thought the black set was accidentally sent to me. I was surprised and very upset that there was no paperwork at all in the package, so no usage/configuration instructions - not even schematics. Remembering the pictures I saw online I had a hard time figuring it out, but to be honest I still don't know if I set up the interior correctly. I used this item in my garage to connect an extension cord to a car battery…
