Page 15 of the EL7085 manual (first photo) clearly states NOT to use paper bags but to use EL200C paper bags. (See second photo). However, the outer packaging of the EL7085 contradicts this and indicates that it is the correct packaging. So what is correct? I'd rather play it safe and follow page 15 than risk voiding my 7 year warranty, but Electrolux "should" fix that.

Electrolux S-bag I bought was all paper/cardboard including around the hole. They have a plastic opening area. Cardboard worked better than these plastic ones, which I find brittle, and I don't think we need more plastic in our world either. Yes it still fits my vacuum cleaner but in my opinion it is not of the same quality as the paper/cardboard models. I will try to find all the papers in the future if I can.

It's no secret that plastic is bad. It literally never breaks down but stays in the environment for all eternity. Microplastics on the beaches, in the sea, in our bodies = BAD. I try my best not to contribute to plastic pollution, which is why I'm amazed when a perfectly good product made from renewable, biodegradable materials is replaced by, you guessed it, plastic. Send them back and buy a genuine ORIGINAL S bag that always had a nice cardboard insert.

Price was good and delivery was fast. However, I have previously used an anti-allergic (cloth) filter bag with my Harmony canister vacuum and my HEPA filter appears to be brand new. Now with the classic S bag, my HEPA filter is going gray and needs to be replaced sooner. On the one hand you save with the classic S-bag compared to the anti-allergy fabric bag, but on the other hand you pay earlier for the new HEPA filter (7€). The math works out in favor of the best Anti-Allergy 'Clinic' filter…

These are paper bags. And they get torn, spreading dirt inside the vacuum cleaner. We used to take white thicker vacuum bags, but they have come to replace them. It's not the same. We had the older one and compared 2. The older one is thicker, almost cloth-like like paper, with a cardboard top. Both are manufactured and patented in Sweden. This new one looks like the bag you can get in the bulk aisle with a navy blue and green plastic mount and it doesn't work. It's garbage.
