I received this a few days ago. I had electrical problems in my RV. I decided to check several electrical relays and found a faulty one. Easy and quick to use. Another good tool for your toolbox.

Relay Buddy by Electronic Specialties A quick and easy way to test a relay. Depending on the relay type, connect a 4 or 5 pin relay set and press the test button. Green light goes through, red light doesn't go through. A great guide to identifying a good or bad relay switch and a great time saver.

Guess the relay in a few seconds. I use this several times a week. Plug it into a 12v battery and you're still testing 24v relays on all heavy equipment. DO NOT CONNECT THIS TO 24 VOLTS or buy it here to replace the one you burned. I highly recommend this device.

I was trying to guess if the relay is bad or not and using this tester got a red light for bad and a green light for good. You simply connect the relay to the tester and plug it into a twelve volt supply and if the relay is faulty it will show red immediately. If the tester is OK, it passes a series of ten series of tests and gives the go-ahead.

Relay Buddy not working. It has failed every relay I have tested. All were good squadrons. Standard 4 pin Bosch relays. My horn relay has failed. The horn works normally. The light relay has failed. The headlights work perfectly. I have a new relay. I had several relays to test on different vehicles. All but one season have passed. This was a 5 ping relay for a BMW. I don't know why it didn't work, I thought it might be the relay itself. Thought it might not be a friends relay test as I have tested a few but the BMW relay was a different size. I tested other 2 relay sizes at 4 and 5 pings. But did it fail?
