Pretty old fashioned standard TV remote control. I found a TV outside but it had no remote control. For only $6 I was able to get everything up and running in less than a minute.

Received a replacement remote, put in 2 different sets of new batteries and none worked. I could never get the remote to activate. No power-on display.

Opened, batteries inserted, everything works. I didn't have to program anything or fiddle with any settings. All functions work perfectly, thanks.

This replacement remote control is exactly the same as the original remote control. Insert and use batteries. That is the same.

Cannot tell any difference between this and the factory remote - differs only in that there is no "LG" symbol. smells just as good as the brand new one - because my dog hasn't chewed it up yet.

This is my second order. The first remote worked great until the dog ate it. So I ordered another one. I just got this one, put the batteries in, and it doesn't work at all. Immediately noticed that the batteries were difficult to put in, 2 AAA batteries.

This remote works so I'm happy with it (the original is worn out). It feels pretty light compared to the old one and you have to be careful when pressing the button, but it does the job and now we can turn the TV back on! For some reason when I bought this I thought it was an original LG replacement remote, but it really isn't. But for the price it does its job well.
