CRYSTAL CLEAR with LONG battery life!

Worth every penny. They are (or at least mine were) set to high power mode so I bought a programming cable for free - but the radio is to die for.

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Secret

I like the BF-888 radios and I'm sure they work well.

Do yourself a favor and research the Baofeng BF-888 radios before you buy a Bantam. They are available here at Revain and have much the same functionality as these radios. I love the BF-888 radios and I'm sure they will work just as well. Do a 30 second research before clicking the BUY button. Trust me you will be very glad you did.

Pros
  • Durable Test Results
Cons
  • A newer model could have been chosen

  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Not the best

Do your research before you buy.

These are repackaged and slightly modified Baofeng 888 ham radios. They are not approved for commercial use but are sold as such. Good radio for radio amateurs, but the declared performance is not correct. The original Baofeng block costs about $15.

Pros
  • program frequencies PC, PL, DPL; Narrow band compliant
Cons
  • disappears

Pros
  • 16 Channels, RF Power 4W/2W, Scanning, Talking Voice Channels
Cons
  • Slightly Torn

Rugged body. Encryption and Whisper. Head to the planetary headset for a good range of communications, from tactical to industrial. View Kenwood f1 port options. There were 4 of these radios on the trail. Almost the same range as my CB when the Bentham is running at max power. Clean. A quality product seems almost indestructible. Programmed custom settings on the fly. But can easily perform factory settings. Ignore unconfirmed buyers. Of course, this is not an "illegal amateur radio fakeโ€. Iโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Frequency range 400-470MHz, 1500mAh lithium-ion battery, fast charger
Cons
  • Unreliable
