The material for the cooling side is very comfortable, and seems to perform about as expected for the price.I do sorely wish the cooling material was on both sides though, so flipping the pillow for a fresh side was easier. This is a nice cooling pillow that fits most standard size pillows (note: you'll probably have to squish your pillow a bit to load/unload as the zippered end does not go the full width of the case).It definitely feels cool to the touch and is soft and cool lying on it. I'm a hot sleeper. This is only temporarily cooling. First laying your head on it will feel cool, but it will warm up. I get uncomfortable at night. It would probably be good in the winter, just not thw hot summer.

These are soft, cool, and most important… THEY ARE SILENT. I’m using them as a pillow protector under my regular pillow cases and they do not make any noise. I’ve purchased other brands and thrown them out same day because of the plasticy, hospital bed feeling the cheap ones give you, I’m very particular about that. Trust me, buy these ones. Period.

These are the ONLY cases that are real cold when you roll over on it. Cools you down quick. I have access to four pillows. If you are hot, sweatyish in bed at night. These stay cool & are absolutely delightful to sleep on! Bought these as a gift for someone else( was too cheap to spend on myself).! But after their races, I got mine. Not inexpensive but worth every cent. These DELIVER.! Awesome!

It is certainly NOT a cooling pillow case. There is supposed to be one side that is cool and that other that is not, this just simply isn’t the case. One side may be cool for a few seconds at most before your body temperature warms it up and then it’s a regular pillow case.My other complaint would be that the hole to put your pillow in is much to small. the zipper doesn’t open completely so you have to force your pillow in this hole that just isn’t big enough, was a PIA.It also came in smelling

Cool at first, but heat up and you have to flip the pillow over, just like any other pillow case. Very disappointing. That's my review.

Jury still out about them being a cooling pillow case. They are soft and pleasant to sleep on. I am going to keep using them and they look nice with my beige sheets.

Always sleep with the cool side of the pillow. It does eventually warm up with you lying on it but it is much cooler than a standard pillowcase.

The cool material is only on one side of the pillow case. The other side is jersey material and rather warm. The cool side always feels cool to the touch but warms up quickly with your head on it. It's better than my normal pillowcase and is comfortable and soft. I like that it closes with a zipper. But it's not that great at keeping me cool

these cases were cool to the touch. the case stayed cool on my face for about 2 minutes and then was the same temp as my cheek so no cooling sensation. i flipped the pillow over and that side was nice and cool, but again, only for about 2 minutes. the case fit my standard size pillow perfectly and was very easy to put on and zip up. the chief problem for me was that the case is rather slippery so my face kept sliding down the pillow and i repeatedly woke thru the night with the tip of my head…

Bought these expecting a negligible coolness but really was shocked at the refreshing chill that hits when you first set your head down. Obviously they lose that sensation to body heat after a few minutes, but I still find them super comfortable to sleep on. Has held coolness after multiple washes as well.

The pillow case is cooling as described, and my main reason for purchasing was the zipper. It has a very clean look, and is exactly what I was looking for.

These really are COOL and feel great, but the beige color is taupe-grey and not at all a pretty color. Very few to choose from. Not happy with the beige—not sure what I will do. Might try another color.
