It's supportive, comfortable and wide enough to actually fit my brace which is VERY important. The pillow I was sent home with from the hospital was also too narrow. so it was a find. And unlike pillows stacked on top of each other, it helps keep your leg and foot in the right position.

This is a really high quality pillow. I think this would be great for applications where you need to lift your foot. We bought it to use after my husband had a knee replacement but his orthopedist said it was not suitable for that as it would keep his leg in an artificially bent position and make it difficult for him to recover. Once inflated it will be difficult to return, so consult your doctor before purchasing!

I fractured the top of my foot so any pressure on it is painful. At 5ft 3in this pillow is too long for my legs to allow my leg to hang off the edge unless I have my foot hanging off the side. This works best for me in a chair with a pillow on the armrest, but it doesn't work for sleeping. Also, the fabric cover is an odd nylon-like material that easily snags on my CAM boot and my dog's claws as they used it more as a lounge chair.

Used after tubular tibial osteotomy. It was much nicer than using stacked pillows. This gave the knee much needed height without fear of falling or bending. The only thing that would be better would be if the handle (i.e. on the side) could be on the end closest to the person using it so it would be easier to pull closer. The fabric was a bit frayed and didn't match the Velcro of the "post-operative knee brace". But it certainly saved a life! I highly recommend!

Thought it was a waste of money. Why not just use pillows? Let me tell you, if you need to keep your foot up for more than a few days, this is a must. It takes the pressure off your knee and allows you to move around (especially while you sleep) without worrying about your pillow tower tipping over. A little background of my review. I bought it because it was needed for my flat foot surgery. I have been using this pillow every day since my surgery on September 9th, 2021.
