Elf Bee Petrol Camshaft Locking Review

This worked well to replace the timing belt on my 2013 Ford Fusion 2.0 EcoBoost GTDI. This is a real pain in the neck and you will need a flywheel lock to complete this set.

This timing belt locking tool works perfectly! The price is relevant. I only used 3 tools from the kit to change the belt and water pump. I highly recommend this set. Makes the job go smoothly.

IMPORTANT! If you are working on Ecoboost 1.5.16 2017, MAKE SURE you are using a SHORT sync pin. There are no instructions, I used a long stylus and everything was off. I had to rip it off again, but luckily the valves didn't bend.

The only negative is that the crank sensor alignment tool does not fit on the crank pulley. The tip of the tool is angled, making it difficult to install the pulley. Tried on 2 different engines. See the difference between Fords and this one. Fords are fatter and straighter

Being a professional mechanic is very expensive. Sometimes it's frustrating to buy a tool just to use it once or twice. Had to do timing belt service on a 2014 Ford Fiesta, this tool made it very easy. I hope to use this tool again in the future, otherwise it just gathers dust.
