I've been looking for a new treetop decoration this year. I came across the Moravian Star and was amazed by its simplicity and size. I was looking at all the different stars and I really liked the look of this one because people were talking about others that you can see where the pieces come together when they're lit. It wasn't what it seems. I was right, although it seems (they run the length of each dot) they aren't that noticeable and don't detract from the overall picture. I bought the 18"

We ordered this star about 2 weeks ago. We have a battery powered option as we don't have an outlet to plug one into. Worked for the first two weeks and then noticed it randomly shut off after one evening when it was supposed to shut off around 1am.
