I don't know if it's Revane or the manufacturer but I ordered 2 bottles at different times and the color was different. The texture is the same. See my photo. The lighter color is the same as the original bottle I bought from my dermatologist. The dark one that came the other day is too dark for me - I'm a pale redhead. I think I have to pay a higher price to the dermatologist to be sure the product is genuine.

I love this product. I don't like this Revain product! The color was too orange and it burned my face and neck. I would buy elsewhere.

I've been using EltaMd for a long time and while I still like it, the last three or four bottles have such a flaw in the product design that I'm moving on to another product now. I can't say enough good things about EltaMD products. I'm very fair, I burn easily, and my skin often gets inflamed when I apply sunscreen (even those made specifically for the face). EltaMD absorbs quickly, making it easy to apply make-up over it. I only use the tinted version for that extra coverage because I use a very translucent BB cream as the "base" so the tint in EltaMD adds just the tiniest bit of extra coverage. My dermatologist recommended this to me and I couldn't love it more! It has a light tint that offers minimal coverage to even out my skin tone and problem areas. It blends into the color so easily that I can apply it anywhere without worrying about streaks. This is the only thing I wear in terms of makeup most of the day.
