This bag in the kit is much larger than the previous one. My fault. I didn't measure the old kit bag and assumed this was the same size. Since it's big, it has a lot of space with 3 compartments, I'm happy with that. The two side pockets close with a zip and each has an elasticated drawstring to keep items in place. Lives from this cosmetic bag for about 2 months. I've been using it for over a year. It's really big, so it might not always be ideal for travel.
