This bag in the kit is much larger than the previous one. My fault. I didn't measure the old kit bag and assumed this was the same size. Since it's big, it has a lot of space with 3 compartments, I'm happy with that. The two side pockets close with a zip and each has an elasticated drawstring to keep items in place. The main compartment has a double zipper for easy access. Very convenient. My biggest complaint isn't the leather. The skin comes from the cow; maybe a goat or even a bison. It is made by human hands. Don't believe when they say "----Leather". I'm served with this bag but I expected it to be leather.
